I went spent a few days visiting some of the fairs crew, raiding their attics
and basements for signs of activities past. Richard, editor of Sun in the East
gave me a load of the black and white prints which were used to produce the
book, and some not used. Also got a bunch of colour snaps, some which were used
on the covers. Not having time to sort them into any kind of narrative order,
they are all to be found in the

. Just one from each fair or village hall event. I've got a few more to scan
then filling in the gaps is down to any of you out there who have copies of the
